But the new firm, CH2M Hill, was at the center of a similar controversy over faked asbestos samples 10 years ago. Community members have the right to demand accurate and responsible monitoring of significant environmental problems, and the pressure is now on the Navy, the City of San Francisco, and the master developer, Lennar, to either verify the data or retest.
