Last month, at California Environmental Justice Alliance’s\u00a0(CEJA) 2019 Congreso<\/strong>, two of our grantees were honored with\u00a0Leadership Awards<\/strong>:\u00a0Committee for a Better Arvin<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability<\/strong>! Committee for a Better Arvin<\/strong>\u00a0was recognized for its tremendous efforts and victories in challenging Big Oil, including winning a historic oil setback in the City of Arvin. Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability<\/strong>\u00a0received a CEJA Leadership Award for its work to end to toxic taps and to help pass SB 200, securing safe and affordable drinking water for California.
