But if you are having problems with the online system, you may want to try Firefox. You can download it here for free<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\nDownload a PDF with all the Application Questions<\/strong> If the system accepts your application, a confirmation page will pop up on your screen. The system will say “The application has been submitted” in a green box. You will also receive an automatic email that says, “Thank you for your submission to Rose Foundation.” Check your spam folder if you don’t receive this email.<\/p>\n If you are unable to save or submit your application, you will get the following warning: “Form Not Saved\/Submitted,” followed by a description of why it didn’t save or submit. \nAfter you have chosen the fund you would like to apply to, you can save a PDF document that contains all of the questions that will be included in the application. Just click on the PDF icon at the top of the page that says “Question List.” We highly recommend that you print this document and look over it before starting the online application. Each of our grantmaking programs has a different application with different questions and different required attachments.\nDon’t Forget To Save!<\/strong>
\nRemember to save your application as you work. We highly recommend that you write up and save your responses in a Word document before inputting them into the online application system. You must scroll down to the bottom of the page to the “Save As Draft” button in order to save your application. You will automatically be timed-out of the system after 90 minutes for security reasons. If any of your responses exceed the character limits or if any of your attachments are too big, your application will not be saved!<\/strong>\nBrevity is Good<\/strong>
\nDon’t feel like you need to use all the character limits for each question. Longer is not better. Be concise.\nTo Submit Your Application<\/strong>
\nAfter you have completed your application, click on “Submit Form” at the bottom of the page to submit it.\n\n
\nWe recommend that you print a copy of your submitted application for your permanent files. To do so, log on to the system and open your application. At the top, click on the PDF icon that says “Application Packet.” That will either open a PDF of your application, or save it to your computer, depending on your computer’s settings.
