Project Description:
The Blight to Bioswales project works with the lowest income residents who are most vulnerable to flooding due to blight and increased rainfall, as they are the least able to migrate or rebuild post-disaster, to develop strategic plans to install bioswales/raingardens to mitigate mass blight. This project improves resiliency through education and knowledge that will foster ready engagement with city officials and stakeholders and find long-term solutions that will prepare communities for impending disasters.
