In the second half of 2022, the Rose Foundation, as the recipient of cy pres, mitigation funds and Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) payments, has been able to redirect $1.8 million to frontline organizations via 32 grants that restore watersheds, ensure digital access, and defend low-income communities of color from toxic pollutants. This report highlights our settlement-enabled grantmakingfrom July to December 2022 as well as some impactful projects we funded earlier in the year.
