Thank You for Building Youth Power with New Voices Are Rising!

Thank You for Building Youth Power with New Voices!

Thanks to an outpouring of support from donors, the New Voices “Crowdfund” fundraising campaign met our goal! We raised $25,000 to support our virtual 2021 Summer Climate Justice Leadership Academy!

Your contributions — big and small — made this amazing accomplishment possible. Thank you for showing our 30 Summer Academy youth from across the Bay Area you believe in them, and for supporting them as they Connect, Learn, Act, and Lead the movement for a climate just future.

Didn’t get a chance to donate by our 6/18 deadline? Or, inspired to give an extra gift?
You can support New Voices Are Rising all year round
by sending a gift through our donate page.

Qin and Andrea, 2021 Summer Academy Youth Co-Coordinators, "When New Voices youth work together, we are able to use our collective power to achieve climate justice."All donations to New Voices’ Crowdfund go directly toward our virtual 2021 Summer Climate Justice Leadership Academy. That’s six action-packed weeks of climate justice education and leadership development for 30 Bay Area youth from frontline communities. Your generous support helps New Voices create a unique online space, offering engaging and immersive learning experiences through hands-on activities; “externships” with partner organizations to lead environmental justice projects in their communities; and virtual field trips, speakers, and community events to develop the skills they need to build youth power for a climate just future!

And your generous support is providing all of our students with tablets and wi-fi to fully participate in this virtual program. Your donation also provides weekly boxes of fresh, local produce and home garden kits to keep our students and their families nourished through the summer and beyond!

We are so grateful to be building youth power with you. Thank you for supporting New Voices students and their leadership toward a healthy and just future!
