Thanks to the Rose Community’s generosity, in just four weeks, we surpassed our $20,000 goal and raised over $23,000 for our first-ever virtual 2020 Summer Climate Justice Leadership Academy!

All donations support six action-packed weeks of environmental justice education and leadership development for 18 Oakland youth; hands-on experiments, projects, and externships to explore interconnected issues in their communities; and virtual field trips, speakers, and community events to develop the skills they need to build community power and resilience, and to lead the movement for a climate just future!
And your generous support is providing all of our students with tablets, WiFi, and technology assistance to fully participate in this fully remote and virtual program, PLUS weekly boxes of fresh, local produce and home garden kits to keep our students and their families nourished through the summer and beyond!
