Rose Foundation Office Closed, Grantmaking Continuing as Normal

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Rose Foundation Office Closed
Work Continues Remotely & Grantmaking Cycles Continue On

Dear Rose Community,

The Rose Foundation is grateful to be a part of a supportive, generous, and compassionate commnunity. As reports about the spread of COVID-19 continue to unfold, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, students, grantees, partners, and the larger community.

In accordance with public health officials and the recently announced “shelter in place” policies put in place in Alameda County and multiple other Bay Area counties, the Rose Foundation will be closing its office until the county reverses these policies. We will reassess our office closure and operations as we get more information and post any updates to our website.

While our office is closed, staff will be working remotely and available during normal office hours. Though we will be checking voicemail regularly, our phone activity will be limited – please email us to make sure we get your message. Our staff directory and contact information can be found on our website. You may also email us at rose@rosefdn.org and we will forward your message to the appropriate staff member.

During this time of adjustment and transition, it may take longer to respond to any inquiries. Thank you for your patience as we all work together to do the best we can!

It is in these moments that we are reminded of the importance of community and our responsibility to support and take care of each other. If you are able, please reach out to your loved ones and neighbors to ask for or offer any help. Find health and safety resources from the Centers for Disease Control here.

To Our Grantees:

As of now, we will continue our grantmaking cycles as normal and will send out grant checks as scheduled. Please contact your program officer directly or email grants@rosefdn.org with any questions.

Thank you for your patience and support in these uncertain times. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

All of us at the Rose Foundation
